”In a land long ago” young Conan’s destiny is forged when his village and all he holds dear are massacred. Venturing into a brutal and magical place Conan battles his way through a treacherous world of monsters, sorceresses’ and bloodthirsty enemies, and finally chances upon Khalar Zym , the warlord responsible for his tribe's destruction....Revenge is nigh. Despite the budget and, relatively speaking, the fact that most of cast can actually act, the soul of Robert E. Howard’s creation is well and truly lost. Good slick fun, but it pains me to say that Arnie’s version is considerably more substantial.
